- Chuck Donovan Agrees, Vote Libertarian Or Don’t Complain For The Next Two Years
For Immediate Release
ATLANTA, GA – November 2, 2010 – Chuck Donovan, Georgia’s Libertarian candidate for U.S. Senate, agrees with a quote earlier today from Libertarian candidate for Congress, Travis Irvine. In a PBS interview, Mr. Irvine stated, “Vote Libertarian or don’t complain for the next two years.”
Despite lack of equal coverage from the mainstream media, along with cover-ups and typical scare tactics by established political party “leadership”, information on legitimate Libertarian candidates has been at the voters’ fingertips. Donovan said, “Voter apathy is not about failing to show up at the polls. Voter apathy is about the failure of regular Americans to realize how badly the political status quo has wrecked their lives and their wallets, and to look beyond the TV commercials and partisan rallies. If they don’t vote differently this time, it won’t turn out different this time.”
Donovan said, “Today our schools are failing, our national budget is a disaster, our troops are scattered around the world, and we still don’t have jobs or economic hope. Between now and the next election, I predict more of the same. Voters will have to draw a line in the sand and say this far, no further. It won’t be by swapping Democrats for Republicans, or the other way around. The only answer is to sweep Democrats and Republicans out of office and replace them with Libertarians.”
Yesterday, the Daily Tea Party named Chuck Donovan, “the only candidate worthy of the Tea Party name.”

- Daily Tea Party endorses Chuck Donovan, calling him, "the only candidate worthy of the Tea Party name.”
For Immediate Release
ATLANTA, GA – November 1, 2010 – Chuck Donovan, Georgia’s Libertarian candidate for U.S. Senate, received a second acknowledgement from the Tea Party today. The Daily Tea Party published their endorsement of his candidacy with the statement, “Chuck Donovan is the only candidate worthy of the Tea Party name. He is running against big government Johnny Isakson and Mike Thurmond. How will you vote; for big government or for Chuck Donovan?”
Donovan said, “I am grateful to the Daily Tea Party for recognizing me publicly. I have been saying for months that I am the only U.S. Senate candidate who stands for the stated principles of the Tea Party – a constitutionally limited government, an honest free market, and fiscal discipline. I have also said that we must put principles ahead of party and politics. The Daily Tea Party is doing just that.”
Donovan published a Press Release earlier today, declaring he was running against two Democrats. Donovan said, “The voters of Georgia deserve at least one U. S. Senate candidate who is fiscally disciplined and reliable. I’m proud to be the only one on this ballot.”
On October 11th, Donovan received the Milton Friedman Fiscal Conservative Award from the Georgia State Tea Party.

- Chuck Donovan States, “I am running against two Democrats!”
For Immediate Release
ATLANTA, GA – November 1, 2010 – Chuck Donovan, Georgia’s Libertarian candidate for U.S. Senate, is not surprised to hear, Democrat Roy Barnes, publicly state his support for Republican Johnny Isakson again. During Sunday night’s Atlanta Press Club Debate on GPB, Barnes said, “I like Johnny Isakson. I think he’s a fine Senator.” The Senate race Barnes referred to, includes well-known Democrat, Michael Thurmond, however Barnes had previously made other supportive statements for Isakson.
In the only debate for Georgia’s U.S. Senate candidates, Chuck Donovan confronted his Democratic and Republican opponents, calling them, “two peas in the same pod.” Today Donovan added, “The two main parties have a long history of continued violation of natural rights, economic laws, and the Constitution. They have led us to the economic and social mess we now suffer through, and threaten us with far worse.”
Donovan has repeatedly criticized Johnny Isakson’s claim of fiscally responsible representation. “How does a Senator vote for bailouts, stimulus, subsidies, Medicare Part D, No Child Left Behind, the bridge to nowhere, and the Ted Kennedy memorial, and still say he has a history of fiscally responsible representation?”, asked Donovan.
Earlier this year, Chuck Donovan received the Georgia State Tea Party’s Milton Friedman Fiscal Conservative Award. Donovan has also made pledges at DownsizeDC.org, the “No Pork Pledge,” the “Death Tax Repeal Pledge,” the “Taxpayer Protection Pledge,” and the “Defund It” pledge.
Donovan said, “The voters of Georgia deserve at least one U. S. Senate candidate who is fiscally disciplined and reliable. I’m proud to be the only one on this ballot.”

- Libertarian Candidate Chuck Donovan Slams Isakson's Record In Two New TV Commercials
For Immediate Release
ATLANTA, GA – November 1, 2010 – Chuck Donovan, Georgia’s Libertarian candidate for U.S Senate, announces the publishing of two new TV and radio ads. The ads were produced by Athens, GA based Green Room International Productions, LLC (GRIP), a Terrapin Blue company. They may be sampled at Chuck Donovan’s YouTube Channel.
Donovan is working to demonstrate that the Democrats and Republicans both have a long, unbroken history of deficit spending, debt increases, inflation, violation of the Constitution, massive growth of government, and endless wars. Donovan stated, “Americans have been frightened into voting only for Democrats and Republicans. We have to make it different this time.”
In the only debate in which the incumbent Republican dared to face the Libertarian, Donovan stated, “I am standing against two career politicians. When in comes to solutions, they are two peas in the same pod.”
Voters still have a chance to break the cycle and to stop the destruction of their liberties and their dollars. More may be learned about the Donovan campaign at www.DonovanForSenate.com

Matt.Godown@DonovanForSenate.com - Chuck Donovan Shows His Full Commitment to Fiscal and Legislative Reform
For Immediate Release
ATLANTA, GA – October 28, 2010 – Chuck Donovan, Georgia’s Libertarian candidate for U.S Senate, announces his pledge to support six bills recommended by the non-partisan group DownsizeDC.org. Tonight he published his pledge to cosponsor and to vote “Yes” for all six of the bills.
Chuck pledged his unconditional support for the following bills: The Read the Bills Act, The One Subject at a Time Act, The Write the Laws Act, The Free Competition in Currency Act, The Enumerated Powers Act, and The Fiscal Responsibility Act. Chuck stated, “Unfortunately, all of these bills are necessary to further restrain our out of control Federal government. However, if there was a Libertarian Congress in place, simply following the Constitution and the moral principle of no theft would nearly accomplish the same thing.”
More information about the bills may be found at DownsizeDC.org.
Downsize DC is a nonpartisan, non-profit organization which states their mission is to establish constitutional limits, smaller government, civil liberties, federalism, and low taxes. They want to end laws and programs that don’t work, and violate the Constitution. They want to restore the full force of the 9th and 10th amendments, which reserve most social functions to the people and the states. More information on DownsizeDC.org may be found at their website.
Chuck has now signed the “No Pork Pledge”, the “Death Tax Repeal Pledge”, the “Taxpayer Protection Pledge”, the “Defund It” pledge, and now adds his pledge to the Downsize DC list of bills. Chuck challenges other candidates to put their names and reputations on the line the way he has.
While Senator Isakson has signed the “Taxpayer Protection Pledge”, and cosponsored the Enumerated Powers Act, he has not signed the “No Pork Pledge”.
